MOONDOLLARS CAFE in OAK RIDGE, TN.
TWO SHOWS: 6pm-8pm; 9pm-11pm
$10
First of all...make your reservations.
www.moondollarscafe.com
(865) 482 1568
You can go the website, click on my name in the events calendar, and a
reservation form comes up. It seems that every time I play here, the staff is
running around trying to accomodate all the people that showed up WITHOUT a
reservation. This can make your life a lot easier.
With that said, I've just finished looking over the music we've prepared for you
for this performance. WE'RE GOING TO HAVE SO MUCH FUN!! Abbe Andrews and Jessica
Bolinger will be with me the entire night. And you read correctly...STARTING
TONIGHT, ALL OF THE NIGHTS I'M AT MOONDOLLARS (with the exception of the 'Wendel
Werner Presents shows') WILL HAVE TWO SHOWS. 6PM-8PM AND 9PM-11PM. AND...ALL
music will be different in both shows. I'm trying to see to it that it'll be
worth staying around. I can safely say that it will be worth the effort for two
shows. Feel free to order dinner or a nice pastry while you are there.
SUNDAY-TUESDAY, MARCH 1-3, 2009
ORLANDO, FL.
TALLAHASSEE, FL.
TAMPA, FL.
UT ALUMNI CHAPTER MEETINGS WITH WENDEL WERNER AS THE GUEST SPEAKER.
So, the alumni office at the University of Tennessee apparently still thinks I
ought to be teaching the history of rock and roll. They are sending me to give
these lectures all over the country. This time, being that I'll be in Florida,
the topic will be how the state of Florida affects the history of rock and roll.
If you are in the area of any of these cities, please track down where the
meeting will be and come by. I'll try real hard to be greatly entertaining.

BAKER-PETERS JAZZ CLUB
w/J.T AND THE SALTINES featuring Kari Thompson
7:30pm-11:30pm
J.T. is a great sax player that I've known for a long time. I actually
introduced him to his wife, Kari. He asked me to sit in on a gig with him last
month. Well, it seems that has led to more gigs throughout March and April.
There's no cover charge and the vibe is very laid back. Come check us out.
FRIDAY, MARCH 13, 2009
MORRISTOWN, TN.
THE COUNTRY CLUB

I did a night at the Country Club in Morristown about a month ago. It appears to
have gone quite well. There has been a lot of talk about getting me back there.
Well, this will be my return. Hopefully, it will go just as well. If you are a
member, it would be nice to see you stop by.

choir will be participating in a choral festival in Chicago during these days.
It's the first time the choir has traveled since I've been working there.
(That's about five years.) Everyone is looking forward to it. I'm sure we'll
have lots of stories to tell...IF we come back with everyone.

Okay, so here's the plan where this gig is concerned. It will be me and maybe
THREE percussion players with me the entire night, both shows....with different
music in both shows!!! I know that Melanie Howe, from the House Band, will be
playing. I'll be finalizing everyone else this weekend.
Please don't forget coming by GRAYSTONE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH some Sunday morning.
You could always come join the choir.
Thanks for your support.
