NEWSLETTER #118
by Wendel Werner
HELLO AND WELCOME TO THE WENDEL
WERNER NEWSLETTER #118
Hi, everyone.
Well, it's that time of year. I start back as the director of the UT Singers for
my 9th year and teach four classes at Walters State Community College all before
August ends. I've been commissioned to do a couple of choral arrangements for a
local high school. I'll be writing a piece for orchestra and chorus for the
Maryville Community Chorus to be premiered in 2011, which I need to start on it
within the next couple of months. A year from now, Trinity United Methodist
Church will premier the "Esther" choral suite I've spent the past few years
writing. This means I'll need to start refining it within the next couple of
months. I'll be in charge of the John Ribble Concert Series at my church,
Graystone Presbyterian Church, starting in November. I will have AT LEAST two
new albums come out within the next year. This is just part of the upcoming
school year. I say all this to say...I better get on with this newsletter.
