NEWSLETTER #75
by Wendel Werner

HELLO AND WELCOME TO THE WENDEL WERNER NEWSLETTER #75

first of all, i should start off by thanking people.

THE "LOSS" CD HAS BEEN SELLING PRETTY WELL. when you write and
record a cd, you always wonder if anyone will actually want one. so thank
you to the people who have purchased the cd.
if you don't have it yet, you can't get it one of three places...
*at any disc exchange in the Knoxville area
*at ANY wednel werner performance
*online at wendelwerner.com

unfortunately, though, I do have some sad news...

It seems that the release of my new Christmas cd, "let it snow,"
will delayed for yet another year. apparently, there were some
miscalculations in my budget in preparing to send this recording off for
duplications. Trust me, no one is more frustrated than myself. After
recording the project, having the master recording in my possession since
April, doing a photo shoot for the cd, having the cd design all fixed
up...and now not being able to complete the project for another year...yeah,
it's frustrating. So, I DO apologize for that.
At the same time, the December tour will stay the same and i WILL be
playing material from the Christmas album AS WELL AS material from the
"loss" album. The dates for the December tour have been altered a little:

12/09 --- kennebunk, mE
12/12 --- Columbia, sC
12/14 --- columbia, sC
12/15 --- louisville, kY
12/16 --- flushing, mI

okay...the month of November...

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2005
LAWSOM-MCGHEE LIBRARY (DOWNTOWN LIBRARY)
6PM-8:30PM

i keep running into people who seem surprised that this cool thing is
going on at the library once a month where the library transforms itself
into a cool performing arts center. my response...well then GET DOWN THERE
AND CHECK IT OUT!!! you never know what's going to happen in the past few
months the following things have happened:
*I've done Elvis impressions
*I've sang songs from "schoolhouse rock"
*my MOTHER showed up making a surprise visit. (I had no idea!!)
you don't want to be that person that HEARS about it the next day,
right?

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 2005
SHARON MOSBY w/ WENDEL WERNER, ERIK WERNER, TERRY SCHMIDT, HAROLD NAGGE, AND
TIM PAUL
KNOXVILLE MUSEUM OF ART--ALIVE AFTER FIVE CONCERT SERIES

Now, before you even consider NOT making this performance, perhaps
you ought to look at that line-up again. I would be here if I didn't have to
play just to hear these people. it's the Friday of thanksgiving weekend, so
this is something you can do with those family members that you're tired of.
it starts at 5:30pm but you DO want to be there around 5pm if you want to
sit down. seriously.

let me tell you what's fun about this...a lot of my students at
Walters state have never really heard me play. in some classes, I don't play
AT ALL. the students are beginning to hear rumors that I do something other
