NEWSLETTER #88
by Wendel Werner
HELLO AND WELCOME TO THE WENDEL
WERNER NEWSLETTER #88
I hope everyone has already broken their resolutions and have started living
life normally again.
Let me start off this newsletter by thanking all of you for making my year the
most successful it has ever been. Within the last year, I saw the release of
three albums, did two tours, had three colleges and four high schools perform
pieces of mine, and had some of the biggest performances of my life. All of this
done while teaching for two colleges, playing regularly at Cha Cha's, and
destroying Christmas songs. ALl of this could not have been done without your
support. Thanks. Here's how the year is starting...oh wait!! Before i do
that...you should prepare for the following information:
In looking ahead, I see that I'm scheduled to play at Cha Cha's O N VALENTINE'S
DAY!! If this is an idea you like, then you should probably start placing your
reservations now. That all depends if you think I should be part of your
Valentine's Day present. Think about that!!
Here's Janurary:

ALAN ELEAZER and WENDEL WERNER at HIAWASSEE COLLEGE

Every Wednesday, the college has a chapel service. This time, it will be

WENDEL WERNER CONCERT w/special guest Leslie Graves
FOUNTAIN CITY METHODIST CHURCH
3PM
Once a month, this church presents its concert series and this month, it seems
to be me. I plan to be trying out some new material at this performance as well
as doing a few things with my friend, Leslie. This is the first time I have
performed here by myself. (Alan Eleazer and I will be there together in April.)
Since it is the first time by myself, I am planning on hurting them.
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 31, 2007
CHA CHA'S in Homberg Place
7pm-10pm
Uh huh...you thought I was done here, didn't you?
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 2007
LYNCHBURG, VIRGINIA
SEMINAR AND CONCERT AT RANDOLPH-MACON WOMAN'S COLLEGE
3PM
First of all...the name of the college is spelled correctly. Don't make fun of
me. I have know n the director, Dr. Speer, for a while now. I have been very
flattered that his choir has performed pieces of mine for the last two years.
Now I'll be traveling to Lynchburg to work with a few jazz choirs in the area as
well as give a small concert. If you live in the area, please stop by.
Alright...that's everything for the month of January.
Try not to get too cold.
Remember that you may want to make your Valentine's Day reservations at Cha
Cha's early.
Thanks, as always, for your support.
